Shu Uemura eyelash curler
This curler is certainly one of the most recommended in the market, featuring enhanced design and upgraded features for ultimate precision that delivers the perfect curl. This is probably one of the best-selling products of Shu Uemura and was crowned the best beauty buy 2011 by Instyle.
What's so great?
These curlers are worth the money because they last! I've bought cheaper ones but they always go rubbish after a few months so its worth spending the money on these long lasting ones. I've used mine for a few months now and they still make dramatic results. I have quite big eyes and long lashes and it is really important that my lashes curl well in shape. This curler grab right at the root of the lashes and curl upwards, their curved angle really does suits all eye shapes!
What's not so great?
The only downfall is it only comes with one replacement insert and you can't buy them separately, so you have to buy a whole new curler when they wear out.

Shu Uemura Fake Eyelashes
The band is so soft and flexible, making application really easy. Although the band looks thick, it really isn't and unlike other eyelashes out there, it looks as though its just eyeliner and is really comfortable on your eyelids. You can see from the pictures above that their lashes are really long, but also look really natural! They do elongate my eyes, and look absolutely lovely on.

Steps in Applying Fake Eyelashes
- Before using fake eyelashes, make sure your eyelids are clean and free from eye makeup or any oil-based product so the adhesive can stick properly.
- Choose the type of fake eyelashes that best suits your eyes. Go for the color that complements your hair and skin tone. You can also opt to wear extravagant fake eyelashes if you’re going to a party.
- Some fake eyelashes are too long that they need to be trimmed before you can use them. Trim lash by lash, one at a time to get the length that you want. Don’t forget though that the lashes on the outer corner should be longer.
- Apply the glue on the fake eyelashes by putting glue on the back side of your hand and “dipping” the fake eyelashes on it using a toothpick or tweezers. Leave it for 15 to 30 seconds and wait until the glue dries up a little.
- Face a mirror and carefully place the fake eyelashes to your original lashes, as close as possible. Press them against your natural lashes and hold it for 30 seconds to make sure that the fake eyelashes is firmly in place
